Art speaks before words ever do. Every artist holds a vision, a story, a voice - waiting for the right moment to be seen and heard. SILENT Gallery was created to give space to these voices, allowing ideas to unfold.

Founded in 2015 by Tara Segree, SILENT began as Such Is Life Entertainment, a creative marketing agency supporting small businesses and independent artists. As Tara’s passion for art grew, so did her vision. While inspired by the art and design world, she recognized the challenges emerging artists face in breaking through the industry, and saw a gap for artwork that reflected her own and others lived experiences.  Determined to offer a platform for fresh perspectives, SILENT evolved into a space dedicated to amplifying voices often overlooked in mainstream conversations, particularly artists of color, women, and those working in underrepresented mediums.

SILENT is more than a name; it’s the rhythm of creativity itself. It embodies the balance between stillness and expression, introspection and impact. The word, made up of two parts: Such Is Life (SIL), represents the unpredictable nature of artistic journeys, while Entertainment (ENT.), speaks to the power of expression and connection. Together, they form SILENT—a space where ideas quietly simmer, waiting for the right moment to emerge.

Beyond a traditional gallery, SILENT bridges the gap between artists and the world at large, demonstrating that art is more than an object - it’s a way to find your voice, make a statement, and be a force for change.
